Wasn't sure if I really needed the recent volume 1 as I have all the original comic books but I did enjoy it. The foreward I thought was especially good. The coloring was nice as well. Come to think of it, I don't want to open my original comics ever again. These archives are the way to go! I haven't gotten any archives before, I have 19 of the original Marvel Masterworks. I notice this new one is printed in Hong Kong. Didn't they use to be printed in Canada? Also, the original Tower Comics logo has been removed from the covers.

The vibrant color is one of the best aspects of the archive series. The pictures just jump off the paper. You know... I don't think comics ever looked this good.
